Taco Bell Tuesdays
Every Tuesday, one of FAPTO's dedicated volunteers takes orders
(before the start of the school day) for Taco Bell. Lunch includes
two tacos, a drink, and a snack. Our parent volunteer picks up the
food, delivers it to the school, and passes it out at lunch time.
The cost is $4.00 for lunch. Many thanks to Nancy for her weekly
contribution.
Box Tops for
Education
This program generates much-needed funding through the simple process
of box top collection. The General Mills company will reimburse
schools 10¢ for each box top from any of its many products
up to a total of $20,000/year, with checks issued semi-annually.
This is an ongoing program, started here at Foothills Academy during
the Fall Semester of 2003. Box tops are collected during Advisory
classes, or may be dropped off at the Administrative Office at any
time.

Pizza Hut
At various times during the year, Pizza Hut donates a portion
of their sales to FAPTO. The when, where and how are supplied by
e-mails sent out by Foothills Academy;s Registrar. Keep a look out
for your next opportunity. Be sure you identify
yourself as a Foothills Academy parent.
Italian Ices
Prepacked Italian Ices are sold at lunch times and during school
events. The Italian Ice program is manned by volunteers. Proceeds
are used to help maintain the field.
Annual Fund Raising
Event
Each year Foothills Academy Parent Teacher Organization hosts a
fundraising event. Proceeds from our annual event is used to benefit
the Foothills Academy student population. Our focus is to provide
services that add to the experience of each student and include
cultural enrichment, continuing education and development for teachers
and administrative staff, classroom supplies, and text books. For
the 2006/2007 year, Foothills Academy Parent Teacher Organization's
main fundraising event is Bling
